This is my first ever “big” Nationals. I’m very excited for it. Here are some interesting facts:
- I was born in San Jose, and this year’s Prudential Nationals will be in San Jose.
- Nationals will be in the HP Pavilion. Hewlett-Packard founded HP in a garage in Palo Alto, which is my hometown.
- I skate my long program on Chinese Lunar New Year, which falls on January 23rd this year. My free skate music happens to be Asian-themed.
- This is my Zodiac year, the year of the dragon. My free skate costume has dragons on it to match my music, coincidentally.
