This weekend I visited my dad’s workplace at the Google HQ, in Mountain View, CA, a couple of miles from my hometown Palo Alto. The Silicon Valley spirit has always been inspiring me, forever young, energetic, creative and confident.

This building is very unique.

The Google campus is huge – lots of buildings (around 60?). People go from one place to another on these free Google bikes.

And when you have a group, ride on this 6-wheeler car-bike combination!

There are lots of statues on the Google campus.

A fake dinosaur skeleton.

Some Googlers playing beach volleyball

The Google soccer field from the car (sorry, bad picture)

Playing ping pong in the arcade

Doing pull-ups in the Google gym.

There is also a cafeteria in each building. Free lunch, free dinner. Your whole family is welcome to have dinner here, and you can take your dinner home.

Google executives often update employees on quarter results at this cafeteria with a stage in the front.

The future CEO Vincent Zhou (just kidding, haha)

My dad works in this building. Two Google founders are also in this building. That makes me both excited and nervous.

The grand inside

Welcome to Google.

Another evidence of the fast paced Silicon Valley. The slide is more efficient than the elevator or the stairs.

A work area

A recliner built into the wall right next to the work area

Relax.

Relax again.

This is a wonderland. Android rules here!

Vincent climbs Mt. Sundae!

Taking care of my pet bee (just kidding) Notice the Android larva.
